Update Location

The Update Location screen allows you to change the information on an existing Location.

Field	Definition
Name	Enter the name of the Location. This is a required field.
Code	Enter a code for the Location. This is a required field.
Parent Company	Use this drop-down list to select the Parent Company of the Location. The correct Parent Company is required.
Parent Sub Company	Use this drop-down list to select an optional Sub Company of the Location.
Street Address1	Enter the first line of the street address.
Street Address2	Enter the second line of the street address.
County Name	Enter the County name.
City Name	Enter the City name.
State Name	Use this drop-down list to select the State. The correct State is required.
Country	Enter the Country.
Zip	Enter the ZIP Code.
Geocode	If known, enter the Geocode. Or, click to search for all Geocodes that match the entered jurisdictional information to search and select one.
Latitude	The latitude can be entered here.
Longitude	The longitude can be entered here.
Ocl Indicator	Check this box to indicate that the new Location is outside the city limits.

Button/Icon	Function
	Click to search for matching Geocodes and display them in the Geocodes section.
	Click to save the updated Location and return to the Show Location screen.

If the Location is mapped, the Geocodes section displays the mapped Location. If it is unmapped, then it will display all Geocodes that match the information entered in the Update Location section. Enter more information and click

again to reduce the number of Geocodes displayed. Click

on the respective Geocode to map it to the Location.

If the Geospatial engine is enabled, the address data will be cleansed and returned with the appropriate Geocode. Alternatively, you can enter just the latitude and longitude of the Location, and the matching Geocode will be displayed.

Button/Icon	Function
	Click to select the respective Geocode and map it to the Location.
	Click to display the Tax Rate Summary screen for the respective Geocode.
	Move the mouse pointer over this to display all Special Taxing Jurisdictions for the respective Geocode.
